How flexible is the tutoring schedule?
Our tutoring schedules are completely flexible and determined between you and our tutors. You have full control over:
- Session Times: After school, weekends, school holidays, or any time that works for your family
- Hours Per Week: 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, or more—whatever your learner needs
- Session Duration: 1-hour sessions, 2-hour sessions, or custom arrangements
- Easy Adjustments: Increase or decrease hours as exam dates approach or needs change
There are no rigid packages. We work with you to create a tutoring arrangement that fits your learner’s academic needs and your family’s routine. The minimum commitment is 8 hours per month, but you arrange the specific schedule directly with your tutor.
What subjects do you tutor?
We provide expert tutoring in three core subjects for Grade 4-12:
- English: Language skills, comprehension, essay writing, literature analysis, exam preparation
- Mathematics: Numeracy, problem-solving, algebra, geometry, advanced mathematics, NSC preparation
- Afrikaans: Language proficiency, grammar, reading comprehension, communication skills

What are your tutoring rates?
Our tutoring rates are straightforward and based on your learner’s grade level:
- Grades 4-9: R187.50 per hour
- Grades 10-12: R250 per hour
You pay only for the hours your learner attends. You decide how many hours per week and when sessions occur. For example:
- Grade 4-9 learner, 4 hours/week = R750/week
- Grade 10-12 learner, 6 hours/week = R1,500/week
No hidden fees, no long-term contracts—just transparent, hourly-based pricing. The minimum is 8 hours per month.
How quickly will I see improvements in my learner's performance?
The timeline for improvement depends on several factors:
- Starting Point: Learners with significant gaps may need more time to build foundational skills
- Consistency: Regular, consistent tutoring sessions produce faster results than sporadic support
- Engagement: Learner participation and willingness to practice outside tutoring sessions accelerates progress
- Focus Area: Exam preparation often shows results within 4-8 weeks; building foundational skills may take longer
Most learners show improved confidence and understanding within 2-4 weeks of consistent tutoring. We track progress regularly and provide feedback on your learner’s development. If expectations aren’t being met, we adjust the tutoring approach.
